Hello friends and family,
Just thought I'd take a little time to share some pictures of our excursion to the Nevada County Fair. Today was scholar student day, and we had three scholar students ... so admission for the kids was free! The kids each got 10 ride tickets and were able to choose their rides. We also enjoyed lunch together. It was a very fun two hours!
Gavin chose to do a helicopter ride and then visited the fun house twice. Chloe rode the helicopters, a hot air balloon ride and flying elephants. Zack chose the hot air balloons, the elephants and then chose the giant slide. (I can't believe he chose the slide, but he did ... climbed to the top and went down all by himself. I don't have any pictures, but I did take a video with the camera!)
The photo below is Zack and Chloe riding on the hot air balloons. For what it's worth, this ride used to be at Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch. 
The Budweiser Clydesdales were also at the fair. What wonderful animals! This is the Dalmatian that travels with the dogs. 
One of the horses is in the background. They are huge! : )
Now we're resting a bit. It was a fun morning. Hard to believe that school starts in just one week. It's nice to have some fun family time before the rush of a new year. Hope this finds everyone doing well.
